It’s Jackie and Scott again with another installment of Talking Pumps with Hydro. Scott, as product management director at Hydro, you’ve learned many companies’ plastic chemical dispensers in industrial settings can really take a beating. Maintenance, setting adjustments and general use of the dispenser can damage the plastic cabinet shell over time. Can you set the scene for us?
No problem. Imagine your janitorial staff getting ready for their daily routine. They go to the chemical dispenser mounted on the wall. How do they dispense the dosage? Do they gently press the dispenser with a finger or do they pound the unit with a fist? Have you ever seen a mop handle get pushed against a plastic dispenser? It’s not pretty. When these units need maintenance, does the plastic outer shell get carefully placed on a counter or dropped to the concrete? All these scenarios happen whether unintentional or not. Everything depends on the individual.
That’s so true. We like to think that everyone treats equipment as if it were their own and with its intended use. But that’s not always the case.
Unfortunately, problems arise if a chemical dispenser unit is not handled properly. We recognized these scenarios happen, so we came out with the Streamline: a durable, stainless steel dispenser for accurate and automatic dilutions. If a mop handle gets pushed against this baby, it’s less likely to do major damage.
Gotcha. So, durability is a big plus for the Streamline. What other benefits are there?
You’ll have time savings with dispensing the right amount of chemicals for your bottle, bucket, auto scrubber or other containers. Your staff spends less time mixing and re-mixing chemicals to get the right dilution ratios. Also, safety is improved since there is less splashing, spilling and reduced back strain from manual lifting of chemicals or water. Streamline is available with up to four buttons for multiple applications.
That’s great. Streamline, a durable solution to a common problem. Scott, thank you for your time. To learn more about facility solutions like this, visit our booth #1307 at ISSA 2022 this October 10-13. If you have a more urgent need, please contact us directly.
